Nice bill written full of conjecture and alarmist language. How about some scientific facts. That's why California is full of ridiculous laws. First mountain lions, now bobcats. Next will be deer, bears, birds and elk. This state is writing a book on how to systematically outlaw all hunting

The funny thing is they cited scientific management in the article defending a hunting moratorium that has no basis in science.

It would be interesting if all hunters and Cali F&G officers refused to kill any lion in CA ever going forward.... that means any lion, anywhere, doing anything. All must live, including nuisance and predatory animals.

Once folks start losing their lap dogs gone out for a pee at an alarming rate there will be a call for a full on lion massacre!

They can't ban hunting, then quietly kill a couple hundred every year for depredation.... shouldn't that just be call contract trophy killing?...or why not offer lower risk depredation tags to hunters?...same outcome, but make money instead of spending it.

Here's some more information on the pending extinction of the mountain lion. Can't believe how use they use that word. Wouldn't it be nice if we could raise that much for real wildlife issues?
