Max points is only 16 though this year right? Keep in mind that a lot of max points holders will eventually stop hunting.

I know. They need to allocate 50% of the special permit tags to those with max points. The problem is that there are so few tags. It won't fix the moose, sheep and goat draws, but it might fix the elk and deer.

They need to limit applications per species in a certain year like Idaho. You can either apply for deer+elk, goat, moose, or sheep. It is the only way they will ever fix the drawing odds in WA state. Simply too few tags for too many hunters. (Let people apply for points in all species, just only actually apply for one species in a given year.)

They would never do that in washington because they would sell less applications and all they care about is the money not the animals or habitat
