Mount ATV tank sprayer on tractor?

Hey guys, anybody ever mount an ATV tank sprayer on a tractor?

I think I figured it out. I'm going to build a mount out of either 3/4" plywood or scrap 2x6 I have laying around. I"ll bolt that to the top of my 3 point sand box and run the wire and controls up to the battery. Shouldn't be a big deal. Sorry for posting without doing some critical thinking and mcgyvering first.

Your idea should work. I mounted a 50 gallon spray tank built for a 3 point onto the back of an atv so it’s just vice versa. In case your wondering, 50 gallons on the back of a 4wheeler is way too heavy to be spraying up hills. Wheelie time.

Strap it into the bucket

This is a fantastic idea and makes a ton of sense. Puts all the wires closer to the battery and the only question is if the on/off is long enough to make it to the seat. However, having the sprayer up front in the bucket "Hagie" style allows me to see exactly where it's going and gives maximum ability to adjust up or down easily. Just can't spray into the wind.

I think your rear mount is the better choice. You may have coverage issues where your tires run over the freshly laid/settling mist. If not on pretty level ground, the bucket will "bounce", causing more variation in sprayer bar height (and coverage width) vs rear mount.

That's a good point, and the Hagie sprayers have a nozzle behind the back wheels for this reason.

a hitch hauler mounted on the back of the 3 point hitch makes a great place to mount the sprayer. it also works for carrying fence tools or the chainsaw.

i built a 2 inch receiver for trailer a trailer ball and implement puller that attaches to the 3 point and accepts the hitch hauler also.
