I currently use a Klamath hoody. Doesn’t block wind but that’s to be expected. What’s the best fleece out there for warmth, wind resistance and moisture management (ie dries fast)?

Merino shirt, Klamath hoody and a kuiu 240 are my go to layering. along with a puffy if it’s cold enough. The Klamath is a great fitting piece but I Wouldn’t mind finding another mid layer that blocks the wind better.

I love my Klamath but I get tired of having the wind strip away whatever warmth I’ve gained. I don’t want to be hiking around in a loud rain jacket either if it’s not crazy windy and raining.

I have a Klamath hoodie too I use allot. I have another I made into a short sleeve hoodie. I love it but it’s m getting ready to try a peleton 240 because they get such great reviews such as above.

I run the Cronos Hoodie pretty much daily. Fast drying, blocks wind IMO perfect midlayer or base depending on time of year.

I have Patagonia, Arcteryx, and Beyond fleeces, and any of them should serve you well. None of them are dedicated wind blockers, but some block better than others. I tend to like a purpose built windbreaker over my fleece. I also have a SORD hard shell that is bulkier, but does block the wind well.
