Mossberg 500 Turkey/Deer combo experience / opinions

Looking to get some feedback from firsthand users on the 500 Turkey/Deer combo. I have never owned a 500, but I have a lot of time behind the M590 while in the Marine Corps. I love the 590 platform and have owned the 930 JM Pro which was great, plus tons of 870s & A5 guns. But how are the new production 500 & specifically the Turkey Deer gun? Is the slug barrel accurate? How do they wear, are there any issues to know of?
