Seems like you could track cell phones in that exact area that day and have a pretty good suspect list. Still not sure why it took a year for this to be sent out.

My scientific wild ass guess is that they have their person but are sticking with the CPW history of wanting an admission of guilt and mistake explanation, rather than denial.

Throw the picture out there to see if that person comes forward, when you arrest him, seize his electronic devices and see if he viewed this press release. Then you know how forthright the person is if they say they didn't know they were being sought.

It seems like a lot of these investigations are the long play from CPW, and I can't remember them losing a trial.

Cell records only record the completion of a voice call. That is required by law to be recorded. Presence and text are "not recorded." But with that clear a picture, he's toast. Lots of ... machinations in the the prosecution too.

Dang man! How many points are you going to get from the CPW?
Not turning the guy in... just illustrating how easy facial recognition is to do. Blow the picture up, segment it, enter into Google searches world wide and there you go. May not even be the same guy? However, it might be...if Colorado was serious about finding him, they would have already done it.

Exactly! A grizzly poacher was caught because of his cell phone was pinged in the area
