Killed everything from ground hogs to water buffalo with ELD-M's.

Used the 140EH for the first time last week Pronghorn hunting in Montana. 2,950 out of a 6.5PRC. 325 yards 300ft downhill quarting to. Through both lungs and the liver (presumably fragments in the liver?). Massive damage, no exit. Bullet worked great.

I think you can hunt earlier on the reservations.

These shot well for me, but did not produce the sort of wound channels I was looking for. Even at relatively short distances with plenty of velocity.

I used the eld-m in my 308win last year. Shot a nice 360” bull elk at 275 yards. Went to its knees then down and never moved again. A week later my mother in law borrowed the rifle with the same ammo. Shot a big cow elk at about 80 yards. Bang flop. Sample size of 2 and nothing super long range but don’t see how it could have went any better at short and medium.

I’ll be hunting all of the animals mentioned this season with a 130 TMK.

The only worry you will possibly have is too much damage lol.

I love moose meat from all of the ones I’ve had, so I’m intentionally trying to not hit shoulders and to not keep shooting if he’s mortally hit. If I get a chance at one any how. That may prove to be tough

After seeing the wounds created by the 130 TMK at 300 yards from a 16” 6.5CM on an elk, I personally see no reason to change.

The thump crap out of aoudads too!
