I did a diy moose and caribou hunt in naknek, it was a unsuccessful attempt at moose , I wouldn’t recommend a diy , the Yukon has some great outfitters

I’ve got a group of 4, I’m not up to handle that

If you want to be successful for both it will take a lot of transportation-

Moose is a low density animal and to find 4 legal trophy quality animals would definitely need to be in different camps.

Caribou are where they are.... might be by moose but probably not, as they aren't necessarily in the same habitat

Also timing moose rut is Sep, and Caribou get better later.

If you have the money can't beat an outfitter in NWT with helicopter transportation. Look at the Lancaster's NWTO, and Keele River Outfitters- well known for sheep and Mt. Caribou and big moose.

Best prices in western Alaska but spotty on getting both. Often will have 2 different camps for caribou and moose. my BIL and son guide big moose and caribou- they got a 400" bou and multiple 60" Plus moose and brown bear last year. Grizzly Expeditions is the outfit

Papa Bear out of Bethel would be my bet for moose. Two groups/different camps if it's a 4 person trip. Caribou won't be an option though

I can second the NWT for moose/caribou. Just got back from my second trip up there. First time was sheep/caribou this time has a sheep/moose/caribou tag. Caribou are plentiful throughout the season up there which open is early August. Moose opens Sept 1. I took a nice caribou on a prior hunt but was also not willing to shoot a caribou until I punched my sheep tag passing a lot of nice bulls we saw while pursuing sheep. If you wanted to target both I would go mid -late September to prioritize moose. The moose hunting are really not rutting until later in the month but you should be able to find a good caribou any time of the year up there.
