Montana unit 101

Hello all! My uncle drew a moose tag for 101 in northwest Montana this year. Use to hunt this unit all the time until it got hit pretty hard with wolves. We use to see moose all the time but he's been scouting all summer long with every free day that he's had and he has not seen a single moose yet. He's hoping to get one with his bow. Has been having bad luck with trail cameras not working as well. Just seeing if there is anybody that has any info that might help? Any sightings or anything? Any help would be much appreciated! Just wanting to lift his spirits and hopefully help him fill his tag. Thanks guys!

Not familiar with the unit but make sure you try calling and be patient while calling. once you start calling don't leave that area for 20-30 minutes and then check that area again the next morning or evening as a moose may have moved into it. I went from not seeing any moose in an area but calling there everyday twice a day and my buddy was in there the other day and said there is 11 moose there now... I also successfully called in numerous bulls in another spot and ended up killing one of them that came from over 700yds away off of private.
