Montana spring bear 21 / photos

Here are a few photos from our annual spring bear hunting! Seems we were a tad early on the green up.. only saw 1 bear in 5 days of hunting. Usually see a lot more. I missed this one at 700 yards.. shot over his back by a few inches... I’ve practiced long range out to 900 many times but I rushed this shot and knew immediately.

I went out for the first time yesterday. There's not much green to speak of. Probably will be a week or two before I go back out.
