Just curious how the various snow across the state is affecting hunts in progress? What kind of amounts are you all seeing?

My dad just got a report there is 4’ of snow just west of Glacier. That can’t be good


I have yet to be begin to procrastinate.

Hope everyone in the woods are safe and those going in be careful, heavy wet snow with leaves on trees will mean a lot of trees and branches down blocking roads.

Maybe he meant “East” of Glacier? Choteau had 4’ this morning and still snowing. West side only has a few inches.

I hunted near helena last night, there was only a few inches of snow, but the bulls were really screaming.

18" in Ulm near Great Falls. My dad figured it has actually snowed 24-30", but it melted as soon as it hit the ground for a while.

Just got done snowing here in White Sulphur Springs. Around 8-12' on the ground at Kings Hill Pass and 2-4" here in town.

Nothing in the NW, just high up on the mountain tops.

We had maybe 1/2 on the ground, but it melted within a few hours.
