Montana Season Dates

Does the general deer season opener in Montana follow a specific trend? Such as the second to last Saturday of the month type of pattern? Just trying to guess what the opener is for this year so I can plan around a couple of things.

Looking at the document that showed 2020 proposed season dates it says the following next to Deer/Elk General:

(37 days ending Thanksgiving Sunday-Saturday start)

Archery says:
(First Saturday in September to Sunday before general deer/elk)

You can count that back to October 23 for general deer/elk or fwp has the dates listed online, Oct 23 to Nov 28

That's the info I was looking for. I just can't seem to find the official season dates for 2021 on the FWP site for some reason.

Go to elk or deer then scroll down. I think you'll see it there

Double check those dates against the unit specific regulations in Montana. A few units have some exceptions and cut off buck harvest for mule deer early.
