Montana Prairie Dog

Good morning all,

My father and I will be in Montana the second and third week of September. We'll be primarily between Billings and Bozeman. I was wondering if anyone is aware of any places around that we could hunt prairie dogs. I would appreciate any help anyone could give.

If you don't mind driving North and West of Billings you can find prairie dogs and large prairie dog towns on public land. Haven't been out that direction in 15+ years and they may be overrun w/shooters. There are also towns around Big Timber but AFAIK all on private land. Maybe contact an outfitter in Big Timber?
