Montana Points vs B Points

Hello All,

The first year I applied for Montana points, I made the mistake or so I think of buying B points for certain species. The rest of them have been normal bonus points. Does anyone know if I can combine these or am I out of luck?

Out of luck. Points for B tags are only for B tags is my understanding.

Bonus points are per species. An Elk B tag is treated as a different species, so buying Elk B points does not help you in the normal Elk permit draw, just the Elk B permit draw.
