Heading out in 5 minutes for a solo, 26 hour drive from TN to MT. Any advice on things to listen to? I’n nearly finished with cody rich’s elk hunt from beginning to elk and have listened to most of the hunt backcountry podcasts.

On one of these threads I saw some guys recommend “411 The Hunted” or something along those lines. I haven’t had an opportunity yet.

I liked the meateater close calls series. It will be great since you’re about to be solo in the woods!

Lonesome Dove audio book. Haven’t listened so not sure about the narrator but it would probably get you all the way there.

Ryan Warden story on end of the line podcast and all the clay reid episodes on the big honker podcast. Did that drive last year, loved every minute of it

Todd Snider live album played in order isn’t terrible for a late night drive.
Shawn Ryan Show
SOGcast is good.
Tundra Talk is great.

Son of the Morning Star — the most comprehensive account of Custer, Little Bighorn and the Indian Wars. Will add great context to your drive.

Do yourself a favor and stop at the battlefield if you have time.
