Montana archery elk unit 323

Hunted this unit last year, didn't kill a elk but found a few . Anyone mind sharing any experience they might have in the area? Also spent some time in the snowcrest range but got spooked out of the area by a couple pesky Grizzlies . Sure was beautiful country !! Wouldn't mind heading back there also. So much elk country , so little time!! If anyone has any info they could/would share about these two areas it would be greatly appreciated!!
I hunt solo from the truck. Usually go in 3-5 and bivy out for a few days then come back to base camp restock and head back out.

 

[Gumbo]

Grizzlies in the Snowcrests are no joke. We had one pass by our camp a couple years ago. Those things make me pretty uneasy. 323 has lots of elk for sure but the Gravelly Mountains are notorious for griz maulings. Seems every year a bowhunter or two gets worked over in that area and there are a lot of bears.
