Ive got a freshly cerakoted model 700 action with a brand new Trigger Tech trigger that came off of a Model 700 Mountain rifle I was thinking about selling. Any thoughts on what its worth?

350-ish? Plus whatever you value the trigger at.

Depending what production year the action is, I might be interested in it myself. Care to discuss?

I'd easily pay $450 for a 700 receiver if stainless, trued, mag bolt diameter (LA) or 308 diameter (SA). If the Trigger Tech is a Special, it adds what you paid for it.

My valuation of a 700 is to start at $900, then subtract everything you'd need to do to match the features of a Tenacity or Origin. [Keep in mind that the finish quality of the 700 will always be less no matter what you do to upgrade. Never knock a 700 design, less finish quality has to do with lower mass production standards.] In other words, a $900 Origin makes it tough to pay half that for a 700 cuz a new Tenacity or Origin gets you perfect finish quality, nitride, fluted bolt, trued, stainless, pic rail, bolt knob, no cost to upgrade the firing pin and spring.

One 700 advantage (subjective) is my preference for a blind magazine with tons of mag box length, which causes me to be a bit more willing to pay more than others might.

Hope this helps!

Aside from fit and finish, I can certainly think of multiple knocks on the 700 design! It’s far from flawless.
