Model 70 Pre-Fit Barrel Experience

Wondering if anyone on here has put a prefit barrel on a post 64 model 70? Mine is the controlled round push feed, so no extractor cut in the breech face. It looks like McGowen offers a prefit for the action, but I'm not seeing any other options.

I was also thinking about a prefit for my M70 as well and after reading the McGowen barrel review thread I just ordered a blank and everything went good, shoots great. I understand the appeal of the prefit. I don't know enough about M70' to know if prefits are feasible like say a tikka.
