Has anyone every threaded one of these older Winchesters and suppressed it? If so did it improve accuracy?

I had a supergrade maple 30-06 that wouldn't work with me no matter what I tried. She got traded for a pre-64 270. Beautiful gun but haven't played with it yet. If it doesn't shoot, it will likely get rebuilt or move on down the road too. I love those things but I like accurate rifles more.

Y’all got me worried. Just got one off of GB and put it in an HS precision stock. It’s a beautiful rifle but sure hope it shoots. I’ll know in a few days.
