Figured I would start a thread to show my progress on my trailer for this archery season. Hoping others will show me some pictures of there sweet rigs to get more ideas for mine and help others do the same. I still have a long ways to go in a short period of time, but it will be done!!!! Still need folding bunk beds, another window, custom cupboards, tie downs for SxS, Fans and other goodies. But here's what I got so far ....IMG_20190516_180314827_HDR.jpgIMG_20190705_081040833_HDR.jpgIMG_20190721_200302289.jpgIMG_20190728_223959352.jpgIMG_20190730_220134774.jpg

We are doing the same thing with a 28 ft. gooseneck and are attaching parallel 2x4 runners lengthwise down the sides and hinging plywood bunks with chains on each outer end to be able to fold then up and latch them shut for travel. When at camp we put our gear bins on them and use them as tables, and at night throw the bins under the bunks. We offset the bunks (4) so 2 guys aren't bumping into each other trying to get ready.

Here’s the rig I built. It’s just a small sleeper I build on top of a utility trailer. It’s small and light enough to go down any road my truck can make it down, and it’s nice being able to sleep on a comfortable memory foam mattress during the hunt. I insulated all walls/roof/floor and it stays pretty cozy. Total cost was about $2K to build, including buying the trailer.

Good job on the build. How much does the camper weigh w/o the trailer?

I'm almost done with all the CNC work just a few more shelf fronts and window trim. Juggling family, work, and elk hunt prepping! But soon enough just Elk Hunting. I did get all the cabinet doors finished and some other shelves put in. Debating on putting in a vented propane heater, just can't find one I like. I also gotta get those bunk beds started!!! After that a spot light off the back, maybe a folding table and I still need to find some decent 12v fans.IMG_20190811_203506471.jpg

Looks cool but I would have gone full teardrop and made a kitchen in the back with a lift up lid.
