Employing and knowing are not the same.

To the op. They are fast if you use them for ballpark drops first. If you can create your own drops on the turret that is most prefered. Rarely do mine hit exactly as the data says first time out. You need to shoot and confirm. Then have the turret made, understanding that's going to change slightly with atmospherics. All mine are straight moa without a matched turret.

Been down that road with others, my advice would be to go shoot LR with someone; if its something your pationate about: forget the CDS/BDC and spend the extra $ for mil/moa shooting system. If not, you can get by with with the other, just understand it is seriously limited.
