"DADDY"
Depends on how they roll. I always hunt with my "day pack", and come back for my hauling pack when I need it. The fact that they said they didn't find any of the stuff needed to take care of a downed elk, tells me they probably have day packs with all that stuff in them.I get what you’re saying but spiking out for that many days with no pack?
Seems like a lot of years here in CO hunters end up finding bodies out there, sometimes dumped bodies, sometimes lost hikers, and sometimes other hunters from previous years or seasons. Several years ago my buddy and I stumbled across a mudslide. We found a pair of trekking poles in the slide and wondered if the person that lost them was buried in it. Told a game warden about it and gave him the location. He said he'd coordinate with local sheriff for any missing persons reported.
