Newbie here and figured I would share a nice whitetail out of Minnesota this year. 11 pointer with the bow October 29th. Had alot of nice bucks on camera but never this guy. Got off work early and was in the stand about 330. 6 rolled around and just a few small bucks and some does so I decided to do a little rattling. Hit em together and next thing I know it sounds like a train coming through the brush tearing through the branches. He stepped out at about 20 yards in my opening and I go to draw back and he looks right at me so we're sitting their in a stardom while I'm at half draw for 30 seconds. He puts his head back down and keeps walking as I get to full draw but then stepped behind some brush and stared at me again. We sat their in a good Ole fashioned Mexican standoff for about 3 minutes while I was at full draw and just as I thought I wouldn't be able to hold it back any longer He turns around and steps back into the clearing. Thwack put an arrow right Into the boiler room. Watched him high tail it about 40 yards and go down. I was shaking like a leaf as it was my first bow buck and biggest buck to date. It was a stressful few minutes once he came in but it all worked out in the end and I was blessed to harvest a Minnesota trophy!
