Stuaber is the Representative in this district. Pro mining, pro extractive resources. This has nothing to do with “retribution”. Although I might add “follow the money”. Would be interesting to see who spends money on his campaigns and other interests? How are his spouses and other family members “ investments” doing? What his net worth was entering office and his net worth now?

Follow the money indeed. This is going to benefit the Chilean billionaires who own the Antofagasta mining company.

They happen to be close friends of the president.

So they want to export the wealth from our natural resources to Chile.

Since it is a subsidiary, when the mine leaks (they all do) and pollutes the watershed…Antofagasta can just declare the subsidiary bankrupt and walk away.

I have been in one of these mines in Chile. It was and still is poisoning the local community’s water.

Hard no. Wrong company, wrong location.
