Just curious.. I'm having a .264 built and I know there are 270 requirements in some states (I think? I've seen it somewhere).. I know TX, NM, and AZ don't have restrictions (or at least restrictions well under .264)

Anyone know of any western states where I couldn't hunt with my 6.5?

Most of the western states: Wyoming, Oregon, Utah, Montana, Colorado, Washington have a 6mm or .24 cal as the minimum. Idaho does not have a caliber restriction and just list it as any centerfire rifle. I am not sure about the rest of the states, except Kentucky where the minimum is a .270.
