Can anybody recommend a quality gun cleaning solution that isn’t so strong smelling that it can be used indoors? Preferably a single Cleaner Lubricant Preservative?

I don’t shoot much, but looking to do more. I’ve been using Butch’s Bore Shine on my hunting guns, but the odor is so potent and sticks around. I don’t even like using it in the garage if I don’t have to.

I’m hoping for something I can use in my ‘office’ (unused bedroom) that won’t stink up the whole house. Bonus if it comes in an aerosol can.

Thank you!

Wipe Out Patch Out. I use the liquid not the spray can foam. The liquid is the Patch Out product. You can use the Accelerator in tandem with it if you like, I do. Non petroleum and hardly smells at all.

If you want it in a pressurized can use the Wipe Out.

Available from many vendors.

Patch out and boretech both work well and don’t have much odor. I’ve used Butch’s and these are significantly less.

I prefer patch out and use with accelerator. Their Tactical Advantage really works good on anything that is dirty burning.
You can patch and let it sit awhile then patch again.
Boretech you have to use a brush and lots of passes back and forth. Takes more of my time. Patch out takes less of my time
