I don't know if this counts as a commercial advertisement so moderators please delete if it is.

I've got a bench mill and 10" lathe that I've been working on for a while now and have been doing some work on my rifles. I've milled a Manners stock for AICS bottom metal and the barrel channel and bedded everything. I've drilled/tapped the receiver for 8-40 scope mounts. I've also built rifle and Leica rangefinder tripod mounts as well as mounts for tooling. I've been looking for more to make and wondered if anyone on the site had idea for accessories to make for rifles, shotguns, archery or just general metal work. I don't have a welder yet.

I'm not looking to make a profit. I'd just like to continue making cool stuff and maybe help somebody out that wants some stuff done to their gear. I'm planning on chambering a rifle blank here pretty soon as well as threads for a suppressor.

I'm in the south Denver area if anyone is interested.

Could you mill some Talley Mounts like 16Bore and his dad used to do?

Search "modified talley mounts" on here.

If you can do it, shoot me a PM and maybe we can work it out and I'll drop a set in the mail to you!

You mean like these? That would be simple but I don't have a Tikka to verify exactly how low or wide the cut needs to be. Otherwise, I'd need exact dimension on how they need to be cut.

Speaking of Talley's, I've had two sets modified with a 20 degree cut along the bottom so they act like a 20 degree rail. I'd like to figure out how that's done and done accurately.

I'm not sure I can actually sell those without getting into some sort of trouble. I'd expect there's a patent on the design even though mine is different.
