Halloween as always been a lucky day for me. But the 1st week in November is my favorite time to hunt in Michigan.

In Southern IL, I typically took the two weeks prior to gun season off to bowhunt regardless of dates.

Western Wisconsin, I love the week before Halloween for searching bucks. I usually have best hunting Halloween through Nov 6/7. After that the bucks are on lockdown around me and tougher to hunt.
