My handguard is loose. The factory dovetail tenon has left to right play, which the handguard attaches to. The only other attachment is at the base. Can / should I remove the tenon and peen the backside to create a more snug fit? Anyone else have this issue? I see the Ranger Point Precision guards have set screws that press against the barrel to lock the handguard in place. Not sure if this is a design flaw. Thanks!
