Middle of the road fixed knife?

Looking for some options on a middle of the road fixed blade knife? Maybe there isn’t such a thing? I had a benchmade raghorn that I left in Zimbabwe with the skinner so looking for something close to it. I always pack a Havalon also but just looking for something to basically have along for a back up. Thanks!

I had a Gerber Gator Fixed that I enjoyed, 68$. Sharpens up fine between uses, handle feels good in my hand.

Mora has several different fixed blade models depending on your requirements. Sandvik is pretty good steel and a good value for the money. Here are a couple options with carbon steel (good edge retention and easy to sharpen) and slightly different handles.

I’ve got a ESEE in S35VN, a Bradford Guardian in AEB-L, a Mora in my kill kit, a few different Kizer knives in random steels and a bunch of other cheaper knives in the typical steels those come in, mainly as EDC so if I lose them I’m not mad about it.

There are a lot of good knives out there that won’t break the bank, ranging from Buck, Mora, Gerber, Benchmade and on and on.

It all depends on what your needs and budget are. Middle of the road can be a very broad term here and is the case with knives since they can range from a few bucks to tens of thousands.

Looking at a 3.5”. Something similar to the raghorn but doesn’t have to be identical.

Can’t go wrong with Buck, and yes I have some more premium knives, but the Buck gets it done

I have a skeletized buck fixed blade I carry. Had my buddies wife wrap Paracord as round it for a grip area and can be used for who knows what else. Paklite knife. They make a bigger version also.
