I’ve owned about every Merino brand out there.
Kuiu, Sitka, First Lite, Kryptek, Stone Glacier, Badlands, “all the ski brands”, etc. Still have most of their 2024/2025 offerings.

But has anyone tried the Black Ovis and Everlestock merino? Both are at that 95/5 or 90/10 blend. But before I go drop money on more Stone Glacier, these both really look appealing. Especially with the price. I believe they are both New Zealand with nylon or spandex wrapped merino.
I am a large and XL in Sitka and Kuiu.
A large in Stone Glacier.
Not sure what I would wear in the black Ovis or Eberlestock. I guess Black Ovis did some size modifications last year.

Does anyone have any experience with either of those two brands as far as the wool?

I wear blackovis every single day. I love it, but it’s not the “softest” feeling merino.

Black Ovis t shirt are nice. Super thin and I’ve ripped them in the shoulders busting brush but I’m also not a little nimble guy so that’s probably my fault. I’ve had both styles old and new. New ones they sell are same size as regular shirt no need to size up. They are also long enough when you don’t get pine needles in your ass crack after chasing bugles. Which is a plus. And all the people I’ve talked to there are super nice. I’m waiting for a sale before I buy more seems like they do them often.
