Merino Wool boxers.. First Lite?

Love my FL Red Desert briefs. My UA briefs stink after an hour and don't have the breathability that the merino provides. I wear mine all year long so they get a lot of use. They seem pretty durable with multiple washings. Love the extended legs so they don't ride up. They provide a little extra layering but they breath and wick extremely well. Well worth the money. The briefs can be bought on sale on different hunting sites for around $48-50.

Not to hijack the thread but it seems related. Are the Allegheny bottoms tougher than the red deserts? They are mid weight material instead of lightweight merino. I'm looking at picking up a pair and hoping that they last longer than the red deserts which, for me, make for pretty expensive lounge wear (albeit they are pretty dang comfortable).

Yes they are much tougher. I have been using and abusing my only pair of the Allegheny bottoms for the past two years and they are still in great shape.

Not to go off topic but look at the exofficio boxers too. Most comfortable underwear iv ever worn without a doubt. Manage smell better than any synthetic iv ever tried. And best yet don't stretch out like my redrams do.

So far my Sitka Merino briefs have been the best I've tried, how do these other brands compare? Hate Core Element, too scratchy. The Sitka is much silkier. And the cut is better than most I've tried. Long enough to do the job with zero shift. They are holding up well too but then, they FN better at these prices!
