Merino base layer percentage

Snagged a set of black ovis beaver creek 250 base layers on camo fire before realizing it’s only 52% merino and 48% Cordura nylon. How much difference does going from 52% to 85+ merino on a base layer? Trying to decide wether paying for the return and grabbing first life or badlands merino would be worth it or not

What brand has 85% merino? I thinik all my merino base layers are 50- 60%

first lite areowool is 65%. if you have ever worn the wick hoody, its the best feeling merino in my opinion. I dont think you will notice much of a difference in performance and feel. If you like it, run it!

Badlands has an 85% mix and first light kiln is 95%

I haven’t worn the first lite merino before. I’ve heard great things about it though. They state that Their kiln base is 95% merino.
