I wonder why the Moderator at Birdforum would make this statement, however he does have contacts in the EU, and they are not doing well going forward.

I have no idea why it would be said. Their Sport Optics lines have been doing excellent. The Optika5 scopes are certainly a best value under $500 and their popularity is growing

Because ,while optically knowledgeable, those birder dudes and their moderator are a bunch of pussies, and are appalled at the thought of hunting in any form or fashion.
I would suggest that your generalization about birders may not completely hold water. People who like birds and enjoy learning about them come from all walks of life, personal backgrounds, and political persuasions. If you assume and act like the whole world is out to get you, what sort of image does that portray for hunters as a whole? In my mind, anyone who likes to recreate outdoors is a potential partner in conservation efforts, until proven otherwise.

I love birds. My 1/2 acre pond has 20 woodducks that are there everyday. The 20 acre pond behind that has geese all summer. Sandhill cranes, blue herons, swans, and more.

You know what I love more than watching them. Blasting them from the sky and having my dog retrieve them.

I feel like the bird watchers would hold me for crimes against avians 🤣

If you two would bother to actually read my post more carefully you'd notice, by mention of the word moderator, that I was referring to a birdwatching forum , specifically the Birdforum. I like watching birds too, but the moderator and most of the posters on that board are a bunch of pussies.

I'm a big fan of their binos. I had just reached out to them a couple weeks ago regarding the release of their B2s and they told me that they were currently on hold but just focusing on current models at this time.
