I have a brand new Meopta S2 82 HD spotting scope with a brand new 30-60 wide angle eyepiece for sale. I purchased from Meopta last week. Warranty cards are both blank and ready to be filled out.

This is a top of the line spotter and you can’t beat it for the price. I sold my Swarovski 65 ATS for this scope but unfortunately I just need more eye relief.

Beautiful scope. Hard to beat 18mm eye relief in a spotter, even the Swarovski only has 17mm. How much does this whole package weigh?

Ya I’m not so sure its a eye relief issue more of a wide angle eye piece issue with my facial structure for some reason. I had the 25-50 wide Swarovski eye piece and the “kidney bean” effect was terrible so I went with the 20-60 and it was great.

It’s right around 62 oz

Interesting about the eye relief. I have the same scope and to me it has better eye relief than any other spotter I've looked through. Everyone is different though. Have you tried the 20-70x eyepiece? Some Meopta S2 users prefer that over the WA. I have both eyepieces and it's a toss-up as to which I prefer. Yes, you do get some of the "kidney bean" effect with the WA, especially when panning. I can't really tell much difference with eye relief between the two. It does appear like you're looking more through a tube with the 20-70x, but that's expected. Both are awesome to look through IMO. Good luck with the sale of a great spotting scope!

I use a spotting scope for panning and searching a bunch so I really wanted a wide angle but I might be SOL in that department. If this doesn’t sell I’ll try the 20-70 for sure.

I might suggest you keep the scope and see if someone has a 20-70x they'll trade you (even a temporary trade) so you can try it out. These really are top notch spotters, and I have a hunch that after trying out more makes and models (short of the $3500+ range) you might regret letting it go. Personally, the ATX is the only spotter I would trade my S2 for ...but it's not worth $2000 more to me.

I fell in love with the scope using a 20-70 outside Cabelas in Post Falls, then went online and bought a Meopta S2 with the wide angle eyepiece due to numerous reviews of it online. I think I would actually buy the 20-70 if I could do it over. It just seemed to have a slightly more comfortable view, and I didn't feel it was very narrow anyway. I may get that eyepiece yet.
