Grunden Neptune or Helley Hanson Impertech. They don’t breathe but if you are not to active they are great

My favourite shell ever, for varying use, was a Marmot Minimalist Paclite jacket. I wore it on week-long hikes and when bike commuting in foul weather.

It lasted more than 10 years and by the time I got rid of it, the main material was still intact, the only failing parts being bungee cords and Velcro.
