What kind of prized possessions do you possess, dosen't have to be hunting related, anything. I have these Smith goggles that i got from the great Travis Pastrana, from close to 20 years ago when he tried his hand at the whole supermoto stuff. My brother and i went to see a race, had a few suds, and when he came around for a parade lap,i hopped the fence with shirt in hand, whipping it around and hollering to him. He threw his goggles to me and later signed them in the pits, they were still soaked in sweat. No smart phone then so no pics which was a bummer. So,whada ya got!

I have a signed paperback copy of Trout Bum by John Gierach. That's all the memorabilia I have at all.

I suppose that shows - in a nutshell - my priorities in life.

For me, it’s my great grandfathers ww1 jacket and gloves. I never met him, but the family seems to think we were very similar guys.

Thats a true piece of American history, where would we be if it weren't for that generation!

Waaaaaay too much to list, but my favorite is a little rock I picked up inside a tipi ring, my first trip to wyoming. It's really nothing special, but my old mate Vance looked at it & immediately told me it was an Indian Love Stone!

Took me 6 years to ask him what an Indian love stone was. He looked puzzled for a minute then almost passed out laughing. He asked me if I still had it. I told him it'd never left my truck since the day I picked it up & asked him again what an Indian love stone was.
Once he calmed down he politely told it that an Indian Love Stone was, in fact "just a f@#&ing rock! "

It's still in my center console. 12 years later.

Memorabilia...tough one as I don't have a lot or seek it.

Most cherished is a tie between my father's challenge coin and a book my grandfather wrote called Intelligence and Espionage: An Analytical Bibliography. The war college and CIA still use it for training. Grandfather was in the CIA and 'retired' ... sort of and my father is a retired USAF Maj General.

Other than that I'd say all my pictures of family present and past along with all the memories they bring back.

I have an old Winchester single shot 22. One of the three we had our entire lives growing up. The semi out broke, and couldn't be fixed (economically).

My brother shot a duck that was sitting on our dock out in the middle of the lake with that 22, shot it right through the eye. It was probably a 350 yard shot. To this day we will still jokingly refer to him as eagle-eye Chris.

Ricky Carmichael autographed jersey from back in the day.

I met Rick Johnson back in the late 80's when he was at a local Colorado race I attended. I had on my head a turquoise corduroy Sinisalo Racing hat that he signed the bill of. Had that hat for a long time until it was destroyed by getting bleach all over it during a move. Miss that hat!

I have a Seth Thomas mantle clock that stands 32 inches tall, it was made in the middle 1800's according to a couple of clock experts. It goes to the youngest Douglas male in each generation by will, I got in 1986 when my Dad's youngest brother passed away. It is my will going to my younger son, it is the only item that is named specifically. It keeps perfect time today and hoping I have a grandson it will go to, currently have 2 grand daughters.

I used to have a piece of Doug Henry’s jersey from when he crashed at Budd’s creek and broke both his arms. It happened right in front of me and a friend. We were the ones he walked over to and we took off his helmet and goggles. His arms were a mess...

I sort of collect vintage safari ephemera. Mostly letters, books and pictures. I knew the late, great professional hunter Harry Selby and have some stuff of his, a knife and signed first edition of a Ruark book and other stuff.

Also have letters and a car badgefrom the golden era of Ker, Downey snd Selby Safaris.
