Meindl “Wet Proof” spray

Has anyone purchased and used the Meindl Wet Proof spray for boot care and maintenance of your Meindl boots? Is this a worth having product for a new pair of Meindls, or am I about to be lured into spending an extra $15 bucks that really isn’t necessary? Thanks.

All major manufacturers recommend removing the laces and treating your NEW boots before wearing them. You have to get something to treat them, might as well get what the manufacturer recommends so there will be no issue later if a warranty issue arises.

I used the cream form them and it worked great. Like he above post post boot companies want you to do it before break in. Its worth it in the long run.

Thanks. I do like & agree with treating with their beeswax formula. I’m being a little cheap worrying about $15 spray when the boots I’m strongly considering cost a few hundred.
