I already have the first aid kit figured out but wondering what medications you take into the backcountry? And what quantities?

What am I missing!

Advil
Sutifeed
Imodium
Vitamins
Benadryl

I have some old left over Rx pain pills from a surgery. I bring those. Sure there not as effective as a fresh Rx, but I figure they'd knock the pain back enough for me to hobble out on a busted ankle or similar type of non life threatening but mobility restricting leg injury.

Pain, allergy, anti diarrhea, oragel (haven't needed in three years but one bad tooth ache at home and it's with me always). Quantity is hard to say bring plenty just don't take it just because you have it.

Oragel is smart.

Wish I had some old RX pain pills but haven't had any prescribed in years. I think I have some old antibiotics though!

In addition to Benadryl and Ibuprofen or Aleve mentioned above, some 81 mg aspirin tablets aren't a bad idea if you are over 40 years old and an albuterol inhaler if you have any history of prior Asthma.

Won't leave without my inhalers! I haven't had a flare up in years but you never know! Got a daily one I take for inflammation control and a rescue to take as needed

I've been wondering about this for a while. I have mild asthma and wondered if the altitude would affect it substantially ?

Forgot that I also keep two packs of quick dissolve Bayer.
