Meat packer Idaho 43/48

Officially there are none in Unit 48. I spoke to the only outfitter in 48 and it’s not worth his time he said.

I was told by some locals that if you look around CL you might find someone with stock willing to be on standby. I wasn’t about to open that can of worms....

I've lived in 48 for 30yrs and don't know of anyone that would provide that service,not sure if it's even legal to pay someone to do that if they're not an outfitter?

Thanks for the response. I wasn’t able to find much googling either so I figured options were slim. I’ve got a buddy in Hailey that said he’d help me pack but he also has a youngin due the last week of August so i was looking for backup.

Most of the spots Ive marked don’t seem to be too far from roads so hopefully I’m not too limited by packing solo. I’m also reminding myself how deceiving terrain is from a map....

Should be a good time either way. I’m all about the type 2 fun.
