When you are measuring for length of pull, do you measure from an off-handed firing position or from the prone? Seems my prone measurement is about 3/4" longer. Is one method preferred over the other, or do you take an avg?

Looking for some quick advice. Thanks.

I only worry about LOP with wingshooting.

Try to shoot from prone with a rifle so I suppose that is what I would aim for, it's how I set eye relief.
