MDT HNT26 magazines

Anybody running a long action/magnum bolt face Tikka in a MDT HNT26 chassis? I’m blown away that this heavy 5 round AICS mag is my only option for a chassis that is designed specifically for hunters. I cannot believe no one makes a flush magazine for this. Sounds like that is an option for 308 based cartridges? I feel like a tactical mall ninja with a Creedmoor and a flat bill.  Anyone with any ideas or better options, I am all ears.

I have good luck with the mdt poly 3rd mags....saves about 27 pounds.

I’m not sure, he was around $100 I think , I've done them myself but Kinport does a great job I’ve heard

Yeah, sure wish they made those for a LA. Also I don’t think it saved you quite 27lbs

Yeah I just assumed they would be an option. Didn’t find out until after I already purchased the chassis that options were so limited. Hoping they come out with something sooner or later.

Thanks for bringing this up. This wasn’t even on my radar. Was going to switch the McMillan game warden 2.0 for the chassis. Think I’ll wait now until they come out with a better option.
