WTS MDT HNT 26/AR-15 grip with thumb rest

I used T-spline modeling in CAD and designed a grip with a thumb shelf that is specifically designed for the MDT HNT 26 chassis. I thought the options currently on the market didn't quite feel right or looked like they wouldn't work because of the HNT 26's particular shape.

This grip will fit chassis designed to fit AR-15 style grips (so most MDT chassis and other ones from Ultradyne etc). I've shot with it quite a bit and it works greats, feels great and is strong. It also only weighs 0.3 oz more than the carbon fiber grip that comes with the HNT 26 chassis from the factory. Its 3D printed from PETG thats impact resistant, UV resistant, and good with the temperatures in typical hunting conditions.

Ill be selling them on my Etsy store, Coyote Laser product development, for $35. For you guys the price is $30 shipped tyd if you're interested. Right and left hand model available.

How much does it weigh?

My archery scale says the carbon fiber original grip is 35.35 grams -> 1.24 oz

And it shows my thumb shelf grip is 42.8 grams -> 1.51 oz

So it’s a ~0.3 oz difference

Unfortunately a gripped option is not available right now.

I think I found the right balance with this grip though. I think it minimizes my tightness on the grip of the rifle and reduces input/ tension on the chassis. Which ofcourse helps improve follow up shots. Just my opinion though, I know you guys know what you're doing.

I'll play with this idea in CAD though 22Conch. Thank you for your input.

Have two on the way, thanks! These will go on two seekins chassis that are incoming, that the mdt grips can be used on. So any Seekins Hunter chassis owners or element hunter owners can use this as well.

Not my photo/or rifle but here is an mdt carbon grip on the Seekins chassis since there isn’t a lot on this chassis yet.

Etsy didn't like my listing on my store because it was firearm related so they removed it. So they are only available on here and on Tacswap.

Put mine on an outlier build. Palm swell perfect for me and thumb is in the perfect spot. Fit and finish is about expected given it's 3d printed but for the price and weight it's great value. Only complaint if I'm nitpicking is it makes the trigger reach slightly longer over the MDT pistol style
