It has a noodle forend, a too thin and oddly shaped grip, the comb is thin and painful to shoot, the toe is thin and hard to hold onto. Might be the worst to shoot “modern” stock on the market

Worse than the Choate models? I say that as I have one . It is ugly and uglier by the day BUT, it shoots very well as a bench gun. Far too heavy to do much more than paper and steel. This rules out the field stock as an option for me.

Have one on a 6.5 howa. I've enjoyed it. Has a little flex in forend but hasn't affected anything yet that I've seen

I bought one on sale through Brownells for an older savage. I have zero flex in the forend. I do like the ergos much better than the Choate stock I have used. I do not believe it improved the accuracy of 2 different rifles I tried. Then again I had an Arken scope on the 223 and will be trading it out for an RS1.2 to validate.
If they go on sale I will pick one up for my Tikka 223 trainer so it more closely resembles my primary hunting rifle sporting a Manner EH1. I do not like the weight of it is for a hunting rifle.

I have one on my Ruger American. It is a little plexi on the fore end but nothing that impacts the barrel to throw off anything I like the ergonomics I like the grip I like everything about it other than the mag release sticks out too far.

I've spent some time recently shooting one on a .223 Tikka. The forend on mine is very stiff, the AICS is nice, the grip works ok for me, the LOP is adjustable and spacers are included, comb is adjustable right out of the box.

The thinness of the comb and toe that Form mentioned, the weight, and no "designed" options for butt accessories are my only issues with it. The issue with no designed option for a rear flush cup was easily fixed with drilling/tapping for a hollow stock flush cup.

For me, it's a very usable and solid stock for range work. It's heavier than I want for hunting. I don't think there's anything else at the same price point for AICS in a Tikka unless you go +$100 to a Bravo.

I have one coming this week that I may have thought twice about if I'd seen this thread before ordering. Mainly looking for an m-lok receiver to add weights to. Will endeavor to post an update after I get it set up.

I went back and forth between that and the Oryx. After watching and reading more reviews than I can count the extra 130$ for the oryx was worth it I feel like. More adjustments. Full aluminum instead of the field stock which is only part aluminum I believe, plus the oryx has a cool factor

I got mine all set up now. I'm impressed with the stock for the money. Haven't shot with it yet, but it certainly doesn't feel flimsy. I will say the rear action screw access is incredibly poorly designed. If it were just half a mm wider, then the bit holder on my torque driver would fit in the recess and I wouldn't be torquing action screws by feel.

I didn't have any of the issues I saw on a YouTube review regarding action screws interfering with the bolt or any issues with magazine seating and removal. I got the metal 5 round mag. Everything's a little tight and clunky out of the gate, but it's already wearing in nicely after feeding 20-30 rounds of cheapo 180gr power shocks.
