MDT DRT Chassis

Anybody have the inside scoop on the release date and cost of the MDT DRT chassis. I think they mentioned back at shot that it would be released around now but I was wondering if anybody had further info. Depending on cost, I was looking at swapping over to this for my NRL build.

I would be all in for my open heavy build but 2k is a little ridiculous. Its a shame too. I think it would balance great with the setup I have in my mind.

It’s magnesium. So it’s not going to be cheap. I just really like the look of it but don’t need the benefits of lightweight magnesium. It would be awesome if they do an aluminum eventually. I know they have the LSS Gen 3 but the DRT looks better to me.

If they'd quit buying up every new product on the map that someone already made, then revamping to call it their own, and just focus on their own goods, MDT would be a much better company. My gunsmith told me they already messed up the allocation process and dealer program for Lone Peak, that took what 4 months to F that process up? They think they can make everything better........and they are not even coming close.

Sounds like Tikka inlets for the DRT will be even later than that. That sucks.

I was hoping they would be ready around now so I sold my current stock setup. What are some good alternatives to the DRT? I'm thinking maybe an MPA Hybrid might be a good option and substantially cheaper.

Shite, they had gen 1 ACCs for like $500 on Black Friday. Usually some premiers available on the classifieds for decent prices.

I’m going to list a well used OG MPA BA comp for cheap sometime soon..

LSS Gen 3 is probably the closest to a DRT that is available now and modular. But I’m also holding out and rocking a bravo until then.

same, was looking for a lightweight folding chassis that I could still make weight with using a triple pull. I might just get another spuhr chassis and get the carbon legs for the ckyepod
