both of these stocks are mislabeled. The top stock is a manners SL and the bottom is a bell and Carlson m40.

The Manners MCS-SL can only be inletted for up to a #4 contour

Sorry to disappoint you both but the top stock is not a manners it is a Mcmillan.
It shipped in McMillan box from a custom rifle builder.

Sorry to disappoint you but the red web stock came from a builder in Idaho and it is absolutely a Manners SL and the above post by @BAKPAKR is correct. We’re just trying to help you post the correct information.

Even though it shipped to you in a McMillan box, I suspect it is a:

Yup, you can tell from the picture showing the bottom of the stock that its a Manners. The SL is a super nice stock and equal or better than any McMillan but its not a McMillan.
