WTS McGowen Tikka 300 WSM Prefit

I’m selling a McGowen Tikka prefit chambered in 300 wsm. It is 18” and 1:9” twist. It is contoured to match the Tikka lite profile with a flare at the end for 5/8x24 threads.

It has a longer throat to push heavier bullets further out the case. I have some load notes I can share for reference if you’re curious about OAL.

I put 115 rounds down it and I believe the original owner put 475ish. I did some load development with it and it shoots sub-moa pretty easily. I have a bunch of groups I can share pictures of.

Barrel does have some light marks from barrel vise.

What loads did you try?

Only factory loads I shot out of it were Federal 200gr Edge TLR, Hornady 200gr ELD-X and Remington 150gr Core-Lokt.

Everything else was hand loads. 200gr and 175gr Terminal Ascent, 172gr Speer Impact and 150gr Nosler Ballistic Tip.

What were you using for magazines and did it feed reliably?

I was using a long action bolt stop with a long action magazine that came out of a 300 Win Mag. Never had an issue with feeding.
