I am looking at a new sight and currently have a spot hogg real deal on my back up bow and an HHA Kingpin on my main bow. Just looking for a change.

Double pin for sure. Field of view is better and the distance between both fibers is very similar to what you would get in a 3. Very east to gap between if you have too. In my opinion, its either you go with the double pin or a 5 pin. The 3 pin doesnt make sense to me anymore.

I use a three pin. I run normal with the ability to dial longer range if wanted/needed. Never as accurate gap shooting as using a pin. I think it depends on what your use to shooting. I went from a bunch of pins to 3 and felt it cleaned up the sight window a ton. Going from one to three instead of two would be the opposite I'm guessing. Every animal I shot last year I didn't move the slider but it's nice to have the option and also practicing way out there is fun.

I have the MBG Ascent 3 pin slider. I used to shoot the single pin before that. I switched because of one word...."Elk" when they run in or out or what ever the hell they always seem to do i three pins to shoot with before making adjustments. i have had bulls almost run me over, freak and bolt stop with a cow call and you have a split second....ive been lucky they always stop between 35-45 out.. so i can just release. Usually anything outside that you have more time to make the adjustments..i paid the price a few times only have 1 pin, granted your looking into 2 pins which is not apples to apples. If your shooting a super fast bow that can give you that distance or you set your double up where your good at 5 yds and good to 40yds then that might be the way to go. For me im sticking with my 3 pin. Things happen quick sometimes.

I am between these two sights as well except I will get the 5 pin. Right now I'm leaning more towards the Fast Eddie XL mainly because I'm pretty hard on my equipment and from everything I hear spot hogg holds a slight edge here. On the other hand MBG seems to have brighter pins........
