MBG Slider Sight Tape

crank it all the way up. i suppose you would set it in the middle to dial both ways but really you'd only need that with a single pin or really slow bow. my 3 pin is 30-40-50 with pretty small gaps so there's no need to dial down

I used to run mine all the way up, but noticed after a while I developed a little rattle. Now run centered/flush on top, if that makes sense. Since I started running this way no more vibration. And kinda nice to dial down to say 47 during summer months.

I think I fingered it out. I found the overall travel from just above vane clearance and split the difference. Then I shot 20 and 80 to get my gap which was 3fps more than actual. Actual is 282 and tape gap is 285. No one cares but now it is stored here. :)

My gap was 1.1" from 20 to 80. So my tape will be stuck on for 60 (5 pins). Any idea max range before vane contact? I don't have any software to plug it in. Too bad peep to anchor wasn't more so I could get more range. What are ya'll getting for maximum range?

I'm shooting a single pin version and set mine all the way up for the 20 yard mark so that is the base, crank it all the way up and it is at 20, can be done in the dark without looking at it. Set up that way I can go to 100 for the longest with no issues. Shooting a Hoyt Matrix, 70 lb. 28.5 draw length, 295 fps, 390 gr arrow.

If you want to figure out your vane contact, just throw an arrow in backwards with the point through your d-loop and your rest up in position. Then just roll the sight down to where it makes contact and note the yardage on the tape. It works pretty well.

Always ran Spot Hogg. New sight showed up Thursday. New strings before that. I'd much rather shoot and hunt. I hate f***ing with my gear. Heading west soon. In between diapers and administering discipline I fling arrows or escape on here.

They may look innocent but they are pistols. Part wolf pup, part bobcat.
