I killed my second biggest during archery, my daughter killed her biggest opening weekend of gun season, and my boy killed his biggest which was an absolute unit. He killed a massive doe and also a little doe that we just quartered and he packed out. I killed two does in October, and a bull on Halloween. Our freezer is packed, my parents and sisters freezer are packed and one doe went to a family that needed it. I still have a few tags I plan to fill for some other families. Add in that we bothVery grateful for this season and hope everyone gets to experience one like it. I knew it was gonna be a good year when on January 1st of 2024 I killed a doe and turkey with my bow.

That's quite a list! You'll be talking about those memories with your family for years to come.

I wish you many more like them in the future.

Wow. With a run like that, I’d jot down the story of each hunt. Would make for a cool coffee table book for the family.

I’ve got a couples close friends I hunt with and this is something we always talk about doing. I always take pictures but as we roll to hunt wherever it is we are headed we all agree that we lose a little bit of each story every year to the memory hole.

Good job dad, raising them right!

Awesome season for sure. Congrats to you and your family on the memories made together. We have had an above average season ourselves. My son killed a spike and a doe on opening day of "primitive" season. Then we had a hot streak and I killed a 5.5 year old 16.5 wide heavy rack 8 pointer on 11/8, then was lucky enough to kill a 17" wide 4.5 year old 8 point off same stand the very next Friday 11/15. My son though then blew me out the water on 11/17 with a 4.5 year old, 20-7/8" wide, 140 5/8" 9 pointer. Some of the best memories of my life have been made in these deer woods over the years. Let's keep it rolling!
